My husband started in on framing the windows today. He has spent the last week trimming the wall around the windows in preparation for the trim.

The frame is sanded down 2x4's which we will Varethane when we do all the the paneling in the house. I was afraid the 2x4's would look clunky but they fit right in. I think my husband is going to do a few of the windows with 1x4's or something like because there isn't the same amount of space around each window.
I'll take more pictures and post as more "after" pictures are ready :)
