As happens every spring,
the more time we spend outside the messier the inside of my house gets.
Except this spring
I can actually keep up on the inside cleaning while spending hours and hours outside taking care of the garden and the animals!
I love this because I just hate spending glorious time out in the sunshine only to come inside and see mess that needs to be cleaned. One big draw of having a tiny house was less cleaning and I have got to say, this is one draw this is totally paying off.
Of course it has really helped that my husband isn't cutting wood or doing projects indoors anymore: this seriously cuts down on the constant dust which was becoming a huge pain. Not only am I not having to clean up the constant dust (and, frankly, half the time I didn't because I knew it would just get dusty again in a couple hours) but I also don't have to clean every-single-dish-every-single-time I use it (can you tell I was getting just a little tired of doing that???).
I still have to do the dishes, sweep and vacuum the floors, wash windows, clean the shower, etc. but there's a lot less of each to clean.
Even dishes are less because we just have less of them.
So, then I go clean the church building because I miss cleaning...not! I do that as a ministry but I do find it kind of ironic that I got a tiny house so I don't have to clean as much and now I clean as a ministry...there's humor here somewhere!
Over all though
I am so glad I only have a tiny house to clean
and
I'm loving all the time I get to spend outside!
