Tip #22...If you aren't sure if you should keep something: try putting it in a box in the garage/storage room/spare closet or anywhere you won't see it much, if at all. If you don't need it over the next year, you probably don't need it :)
Tip/Trial #23...
Before we moved (they're all mine from childhood...):

After we moved (the rest are sitting next him on his side of the bed...):
I've had them this long.......I just don't know what to do. I don't idolize them, or even think they're my favorite memorabilia, but when I go to get rid of them....well, I just haven't yet. Obviously my husband has his own opinion about them, but, thankfully, he never insists I get rid of anything. My mom has room at her house; I'm sure my mom wouldn't mind more stuff at her house ;)
You move better than I do! I lost mine years ago. When BG got her first one, she wanted to know if I had ever gotten one. Of course, that's the only time I've wished I've had them...
ReplyDeleteYou know, I almost wish I could lose some things :P. J. has gotten several trophy's and last year I saw a couple of them broken in his room and I was all "oh no, what happened to your trophies?" He replied with total disgust, "They aren't gold." lol oops.
DeleteI take it he didn't value them? Hers was a participation trophy, and I don't think she cares about it other than as proof that she played a sport.
DeleteHe didn't value them after he found out they were plastic! Lol but he does still want to get them at the end of the sports season and he has his new ones up in his room - unbroken ;).
